It’s hard to believe that a group of students that came together in the kitchen of their student flat – all for the love of Irish folk rock music – would go on to rock audiences all over the globe for 30 unforgettable years.
Without you, however, this non-stop celebration of this amazing music genre would not have been possible! To mark these 30 amazing years, we’ll be going all out in 2020 and bringing you something unforgettable! Instead of a one-off anniversary gig celebrating our coming together as a band, we’ll be bringing you a whole year of musical highlights under the motto 3 CHEERS FOR 30 YEARS! A celebration in 3 legs – one for each decade of our musical career.
An anniversary party extraordinaire in true speedfolk style!

► The big 3 CHEERS FOR 30 YEARS! party marathon will kick off in April and Mai 2020 with the next of our popular ACOUSTIC PUB CRAWLS. This all-acoustic musical highlight will include old favourites and new tracks, oldies and surprises, songs with a new take on them, unheard interpretations, at times played with the craziest of instruments. ► Next up is the busy festival season including one of our personal highlights, the SHAMROCK CASTLE Festival, an event that we organise ourselves and where we have free rein over the line-up. This festival is now popular among families from the international Celtic and new folk music scene.
