Fiddler's Green and Jimmy Kelly! 🥳
Even in the early 90s, our paths crossed often, but never actually met. We almost played a show together: in a stadium in Schweinfurt... Fiddler's Green and The Kelly Family! For some inexplicable reason, this event was unfortunately canceled altogether.
So almost 30 years passed before we finally met "in real life": We met by chance in a studio in Münsterland during dinner. During the course of an interesting and entertaining conversation, the idea for a song together finally emerged. With "Botany Bay," the perfect song practically jumped out at us pretty quickly!
And here it is – the congenial collaboration!
